Job Description:

  1. Operate various kitchen equipments as assigned and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Director of Food Services.

  1. Prepare meals as per the menu instructions from the Director of Food Services.

  1. Follow appropriate protocols as per the general food service rules at all times.

  1. Monitor proper food temperature.

  1. Ensure food/stock is rotated and stored properly.

  1. Responsible for the cleanliness of the refrigerators, stoves, stock room, Dinning Room, etc.

  1. Ensure floors are uncluttered, clean and safe.

  1. Ensure food serving areas are constantly clean.

  1. Responsible for the serving of all meals, on time.

  1. Report any unsafe conditions in the kitchen immediately to the Director of Food Services.

  1. Will work with/assist clients assigned to kitchen job-site in food preparation, upkeep and maintenance of kitchen and dining area.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum of High School diploma/GED or One (1) year cooking experience. Ability to coordinate kitchen functions. Knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods on a large scale basis is required.

Must possess effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and a pleasing attitude.
